Configuring Windows 98

Step 1 After you have installed the 1394 FireWire Card in

your computer, turn on the power and allow the sys-

tem to boot normally.

Step 2 Windows 98 will immediately display the Add New

Hardware Wizard and identify the modem as a “PCI

OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller”.

Click the Next button.

Step 3 At the next dialog box, make sure that “Search for the

best driver for your device. (Recommended)” is

selected, and then click Next.
